history of finfin games!

i felt like not a lot of people didn't know the history of finfin games so i thought i would post about them here!!!
first you have the classic computer game that we all know and love but did you know it was originally only 3 areas? but eventually had 6 in which we met junior!
the 6 world version was originally in japan but after overwhelming success of this expansion it was then ported to europe and america!
then they worked on a sort of sequel for the 64 ddrive which was something that let you play disks on the 64! unfortunately this was cancelled due to the failure of ddrive but the project was then moved to the playstation! this game called TEO came with a custom controller with a mic and you explored a new world as a contactee with finfin in a fully 3d space unlike the computer version all creatures responded to your voice
sadly after this tezuka (CREATAR OF FINFIFN) left but finfin lived on!
the next game was on the ps2 called TEO quest which was a platformer similar to spyro (cool game where you play as a dragon)
in this game you play as finfin as you have to collect the stones back from the evil creatures that stole them to restore harmony to teo! it included new areas and have other dolphin birds you could talk to! i think this is the most popular moden finfin game i can't belive not many people are talking about it on here!! my favorite level was the shua shua wetlands!
the most recent game though was teo lemo blast on the gamecube which was not really all that good... it felt like all they did was take one of those carnival games and made it finfin i haven't played it (i don have a gamecube) but i saw videos of it and it looks like a total BORE!!!
do you guys have a favborite? oh yeah there is also tan tan teo but i dont know much about it... but i think its about music!!

Oh wow... I guess the stores around me never stocked the newer stuff! Any idea where I can get those?

i heard that they are more popular in japan and germany for some odd reason! but i have spotted them in second hand stores sometimes! maybe try ebay? although maybe american versions are just harder to find... stupid america

i've played TEO quest, i like that they based some of the other dolphin birds on different cetaceans. my favorite level was probably hokko hot springs. the geyser mechanics really stepped the platforming difficulty up.
im actually writing a fanfic based on the game, well some of it at least. taking my own creative liberties. Wink

(its called the seven stones if you want to search it up.)

i still think the original is the best though. it has a very chill feeling, its fun to watch the creatures live their life. its a lot different from the usual fast-paced games of the modern world and i think thats what makes it stand out.
