I see some people here like anime and manga so I wanted to make thread!
I really like Tokyo Mew Mew (up the the third book, my school library didn't have any more after it), but I don't know many other than that! What do you guys like and do you have any links to them on Youtube?

hm... i think i saw tokyo mew mew in the library, thats the one with catgirls named after foods right
i've read many a mange. my personal favorites are probably death note, elfen lied, and full metal alchemist.

there's this cool obscure anime i love called Sakura Cards that never made it overseas. I only know of it thru a site that was on geocities, but obviously I can't really show you guys that anymore.... the sequel series (Sakura Punk) actually was influenced by the world of TEO when they finally got the chance to expand the scope of the story! ive seen some clips but not a crazy amount... but i know the general plot points!

oh really? are you from japan or soemthing hehe. if you find out more i'd love to watch a teo enspired anime!

oh no no they just made the way they designed the world more inspired by TEO! and im not from japan i just simply stumbled on a fan site on geocities a few years ago. before TEO, the original show Sakura Cards was more influenced by dragon ball, as it came out in 1991. sakura punk started as a movie in 1996 and then the series was in 1997. the latest show was Sakura Strike in 2002, and then rumors of a failed fourth show called Sakura Clockwork, which was probably pitched around 2006 but never got greenlit or something? nobody is really for sure on that one, but the studio behind it, Shirahoshi Studios, made a movie called East Coast Ghost last year that was really cool. i had to torrent it though since it was nowhere else (especially nowhere with a fansub) meaning I can't link it to you guys for legal reasons
