Bit about me

Hello everyone, my name's David. Remember it or don't, I don't give a shit. Here's a little piece about me.

About a year a go I got my hands on FinFin Teo Magic Planet. What the box told me to do was to keep the thing running so that FinFin would warm up to me like a real life animal. When I got the game up and working, my home computer started making crackling sounds but I ignored it coz I assumed running a whole planet would be difficult for a normal home computer like mine.

I don't have a NASA computer.

Anyway I kept Teo Magic Planet going as I went about my days. I'd hear the beautiful sounds of the Lemo Valley while I was making dinner, I'd fall asleep to the rushing of the Remise River Bank, I'd come home from work and FinFin would even sing me a litte tune. But one day I came home and it was all gone. My house up in flames. Dozens of missed calls from my *EX* wife. All my precious belongings, gone.

You know what was still there though?

The firefighters said that the computer had blown up or something, and that's why my house burnt down. I begged them to let me check through the wreckage and the computer was basically melted in a puddle, though I managed to pry the CD out though and took it away with me. I put it into my pal's computer and it still works just fine, but things are different now. FinFin has a sadness in his eyes that wasn't there before. I think witnessing the fire changed him, he's a dophin so he probably don't like fire too much. If you ask me, it was probably my *EX* wife who did it. She was always jealous of how close me and FinFin were.

These days I like to imagine life if I was on Teo Magic Planet. I think I'd be naked all the time and eat lots of Lemo fruit.

If anybody knows how to soothe a FinFin's troubled mind please let me know.

Welcome to the forum!!! I'm sorry that you went through all of that...!!! I think you just need to spend more time with Finfin and you and him will slowly heal from what you two went through...!

I thought this was a place to enjoy FinFin and Magic Planet Teo but you are all telling me that I should let FinFin die and that I am wasting my energy on him...sick, sick people...

Fin Fin is not the key to recovery. You should hitchhike to Alaska and stay there for 3 months with no access to the internet or telecommunication. Hide in a ditch and simply pray.

FinFin HATES sand. If FinFin touches sand his skinskin will dry out and fall off.

If David is okay with having his computer on all of the time, I think he can...! I know it's bad for the energy to have your computer on always, but I think if it's just one person I think it's OK...! Please let me know if I'm wrong...

Its so sad what people can say... but dont let it get u down... a computer is like a flower so uoy should hve fun time keeping it on so finfin doesn't die. I dont do this but its good you do.

It's like when you visit a friend. Just because you're not looking at them, doesn't mean they stop living their life. If you want to keep your computer on, you can. I get grounded if I forget to shut it down when I'm done.

Isn't it obvious? You ARE killing FinFin when you turn your computer off. When you turn it back on, what you are getting is a different FinFin. Just because they look similar doesn't mean they are the same, that's like pointing at a Labrador and a Bitchon Freeze and saying that they're the same thing coz they are both dogs. Is FinFin that replaceable to you? Kill FinFin and just get a new one because you don't have the time or passion to make a meaningful connection?
